Thermozone have been providing cold room sandwich panel by using Polyisocyanurate (PIR) or polyurethane foam (PUF) as insulating core material which is nonharmful to the world environment. The panel offers several advantages over traditional polystyrene foam including great thermal resistance and increased efficiency. This means lower energy consumption for the refrigeration unit. All parts are supplied in knockdown condition.

Lightweight

The Panels are made of rigid Polyisocyanurate (PIR) or polyurethane foam (PUF) foamed in place as core material in between colored steel sheets (Thickness 0.5 mm. to 0.7mm) giving high strength-to-weight ratio and reducing structure requirements for building.

Door with safety device available

The door latch is designed with an inside safety release feature that guarantees immediate release from inside the cold storage room in case of emergency even though the door is locked on the outside.

Durable, corrosion-protected surface

The finished surface of the panels is a double paint coating on galvanized steel sheet. The panels can resist corrosion even in wet, high-moisture working environments. Off-white is the normal standard color. Other colors and materials are also available upon special application for instance 304 stainless steel.

No Condensation at joint

All panel joints of wall, ceiling, and floor can be specially designed tongue–in – groove sleeves. This sleeve joint is a fully aligned precision–made panel connection system, allowing virtually 100% insulation to insulation contact, leaving no gaps in between in order to avoid condensation. The sleeve shall be secured with an engineering plastic locking cam so-called CAMLOCK. CAMLOCK shall consist of a cam action hook locking arm placed in one panel and a pin precisely positioned in the adjoining panel, so that by rotating the locking arm, the hook shall engage over the pin and with cam action, draws the panel tightly together

Easier and less installation time

All parts are factory prefabricated in a knockdown condition and ready to assemble at the site, therefore, reducing installation time significantly.

Comply with International Standards

All interior room corners can be finished with a PVC cover. Food grade, USDA standard coating color is available for food products.

Cold Room Door

Standard doors are available with two standard widths 900 and 1200 mm. for both Hinged, Swing, and Sliding doors. Doors are designed and constructed for heavy-duty use. All doors 100 mm or thicker shall be equipped with a heater concealed in the section of the doorframe in order to prevent condensation and freezing.

A variety of door opening sizes can be provided depending on customers’ requirements. A Transparent PVC strip curtain, floor heater, and the automatic sliding door shall be provided as an option.

The hinged doors
They are various types of hinged doors e.g. single leaf or double leaf. Some are overlapping or flush leafs. Hinged doors are usually opened in the outward direction to the left or the right-hand side.

If your specifications need flexibility in the location of the door, we also supply retrofit reach-in doors. If the position of the door is on a single panel, we can install it in our factory. On the other hand, if the door space is to be shared between 2 panels, the hole will be cut to fit in the panels.

Below are various sizes of standard hinged doors;

These doors are insulated with CFC free Polyurethane with a density of 42 kg / cubic meter (2.62 lb/ft3).

The Sling doors

These types of doors are used by applications that need a larger door opening. This door opens and closes with little or no effort from the user. It has both the left and right-hand sliding options available. We also supply electric sliding doors. These doors are available in either the bi-parting or single door options. Doors that are 5m in height can fit into cold rooms of any kind including standard-sized cold rooms and warehouses.

Fire-resistant doors

Thermozone also produces and supplies metal fire door that is fully galvanized and painted with RAL colours. Our fire-resistant doors also have robust frames that are suitable for installation on weak walls. We build fire-resistant doors that meet the international certified and approved standards.

Swing doors

Thermozone also offers swing doors that will suit various applications. Our doors are designed and built with PU rigid foam, polyethene and grease resistant plastic materials. We also have PVC swing doors that are designed with UV-resistant soft PVC transparent door leaf.
